J.Lewis-blog post 1 ethos

After looking at all the candidates, M. Landrieu is the candidate for which I would vote. She has been consistent in her voting record for ACA, has favored her state (as she should) in committees, and sub-committees alike. She has consistently put herself out there to better her state, criticizing the Republican governor for not increasing the medicare in the state (even though it would not cost the state anything). Her voting record has attracted the animosity of the far right. She is cool under fire, has the expertise and competence to get the job done. On video she seems confident, at ease, outgoing, likable. While not stiff, she could work on her vocal energy. Her vision for Louisiana is inspiring  Bill Cassidy on the other hand, only tells you what he is against. And apparently he is against everything the Democratic party is for, but he never tells you an alternative, gives no specific views for the future, and only motivates by hatred of the Democratic party and of Mary Landrieu. Rob Maness is a charismatic speaker and may give Landrieu a run for her money. However, the only thing he really has going for him is the big conservative money backing his campaign. He is pro-life, pro-gun and anti Obama.
