This post is probably the most exciting yet I am sure. There are so many songs with hidden mean but I am going to have to got with the song Set it off by Lil Boosie. Now the message here in this song isn't hidden. After listening to this song there is no way they artist didn't want to persuade the listener to do something irrational. The targeted audience of this song could honestly be anyone. This is an un bias song that of course contains racial slurs. The fact still remains that anyone could be having a bad day and listen to this song no matter race, age, or anything. listening to this song could also make you recall past experiences that just didn't come off as right to you and you want to take actions to correct it. This song does not put listeners in a positive state of mind by far. As stated before this song makes you want to go and destroy something. I didn't state it so bluntly before, but this song induces aggressive and anger towards someone or thing. After listening to this song in a crowd of people it is clear that the message was pure persuasion.
